About this release
Larry Heard returns to his Loosefingers material with a remastered cut of What Is House? Its extended version builds a fierce acid groove from deceptively simple elements, letting repetition and subtle changes do the work.
The reverse takes a gentler turn with the long version of Dreaming Of Better Days, bringing Heard's deep, jazzy touch to the fore. Two contrasting sides of his house sound on an Alleviated 12-inch.
