About this release
Louie Vega joins members of Unlimited Touch to record a new version of I Hear Music In The Streets, reconnecting the song with its original performers. The sessions took place at Log Cabin Studio in Manhattan and Vega's Daddy's Workshop in New Jersey, with Audrey Wheeler's lead vocal among the returning elements. First issued in 2020, the recording carries the band's disco-funk sound into Vega's club production. This Nervous 12-inch presents the Touch Mix across the first side, with the Expansions NYC Dub and LV Classic Boogie Mix on the reverse, offering three distinct arrangements of the performance.
