About this release
Loveface’s eighth De-mixes release draws on eighties boogie, Italo disco and early house across four tracks. ‘If You Want Me To’ opens the A-side, followed by the mid-tempo groove of ‘Butterflies’. The reverse moves through the Italo and proto-house influences of ‘Rome Elettronico’ before closing with ‘Let’s Dance’, a deeper, melodic selection with the same eighties grounding. The EP continues Loveface’s practice of reshaping familiar musical ideas into club arrangements, moving between brighter disco-derived material and more restrained house textures. All four cuts appear on this twelve-inch from Loveface Music.
