About this release
LUXXURY’s ninth Reworks volume draws together five edits with roots in post-punk, disco and blue-eyed soul. How Does It Feel? reshapes a Manchester post-punk anthem, while A Woman’s Man uncovers details within a familiar disco record. I’m a Man gives a British soul classic from the 1960s a disco treatment. Crystal Visions and They Don’t Love You began as exclusive edits for the producer’s weekly show on Los Angeles radio station KCRW. Brought together on Exxpensive Sounding Music, the selections reflect the range of source material running through his ongoing rework series.
