About this release
Michael Gray pairs two vocal productions on this Sultra Records twelve-inch. Fly Away features Kimberly Brown, known for her work with Sounds of Blackness, alongside The Sultra Gospel Singers, bringing a gospel vocal presence to Gray's house production. On the reverse, Never Let You Down features Anthony Poteat and LaMay. Both songs appear in extended mixes, presenting the complete two-track programme. The single connects Gray's disco and soulful house approach with two different sets of vocal collaborators.
