About this release
Michael The Lion and Natasha Kitty Katt join vocalist Suki Soul for ‘I Found Peace’, a collaboration rooted in their shared love of classic disco. Michael plays guitar, Natasha handles drum machines and synths, and Jules Krishnamurti and Dan Paul contribute bass and keyboards. Their live playing meets electronic production across a four-version Whiskey Disco 12-inch. Pontchartrain’s ‘Pontch’s Disco Mix’ opens the record, followed by the original version. On the reverse, Tonarunur, also known as B.G. Baarregaard, takes the song into house territory with a House Mix and Tropical Dub, giving the vocal collaboration two further club interpretations.
