About this release
Moin’s third album brings guest voices into the shifting guitar and percussion language of Valentina Magaletti, Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews. Olan Monk, james K, Coby Sey and Sophia Al-Maria each leave a distinct imprint, from intimate singing to spoken passages that open new spaces around the trio’s playing. Grunge, shoegaze and indie rock are reshaped through electronic production, with familiar band textures taking on an unsettled, melancholy character. Halstead and Andrews produce and mix the record, keeping the vocals closely woven into Moin’s arrangements. The result expands the group’s sound while retaining its direct, exploratory approach.
