About this release
The Patchouli Brothers bring four edits to Moton Records Inc, reflecting the Canadian duo's interest in disco, soul and the less familiar corners of dance music. Lead Astray and Kin Sol occupy the first side, with Can't Get You Down and Project Soul on the reverse. Their work is connected to the Beam Me Up parties in Toronto and Montreal, where their selections span disco and related styles. This 12-inch keeps the focus on the four edits themselves, bringing the duo's approach to a record made for DJ use. Each side pairs two tracks within the MTN46 programme.
