About this release
Silence Is Loud is Nia Archives' debut album, bringing her jungle production into a more song-focused setting. Released in 2024, it pairs fast breakbeats with lyrics about loneliness, family and relationships, drawing on Britpop, soul and indie music alongside her club influences. Ethan P. Flynn co-produced the record, helping shape the guitars, bass and arrangements around Nia's voice. Crowded Roomz examines the isolation of touring, while the title track celebrates her younger brother and Silence Is Loud (Reprise) offers a quieter, drumless moment. This Island vinyl LP contains the complete thirteen-track album.
