About this release
The Order Of Change gathers recordings by Orquesta De Las Nubes, the Madrid trio of Suso Saiz, percussionist Pedro Estevan and soprano María Villa. Their music combines guitar loops, synthesizers and drum machines with acoustic percussion and wordless singing, drawing on their shared interest in minimalism and experimental composition. The group developed through live performances connected to Madrid's visual arts scene before releasing three albums between 1983 and 1987. Music From Memory's ten-track selection brings those elements into focus, moving from the brief Un Regalo to longer works such as Tiempo De Espera and El Orden Del Azar.
