Pete Blaker - Pete Blaker Edits

Pete Blaker’s Razor-N-Tape debut gives two disco edits room to develop across a double-sided 12-inch. Love And Devotion takes the first side, stretching its arrangement over nearly sixteen minutes with repeated rises in energy. Disoc follows on the reverse, building from pulsing bass, synthesisers and guitar into strings and a vocal hook. The pairing returns to the label’s early approach of placing one extended cut on each side, giving both tracks their full length. RNT062 presents the two pieces on 180g vinyl, with the emphasis on long-form arrangements and gradual movement through the groove.
