About this release
Saucy Lady and U-KEY revisit Klique’s “I Can’t Shake This Feeling” with Omar joining Saucy Lady on vocals. Produced by Yuki Kanesaka, the arrangement combines live brass and strings with Curtis Williams on alto saxophone and David Frank on Oberheim and Moog synthesizers. The result brings a full-band approach to the song’s disco and boogie roots, with players from Boston and Japan contributing to the recording. On the reverse, Young Pulse’s “Baby Powder” remix adds his own vocal layers and moves the track towards broken beat and house. This Dippin’ Records 12-inch pairs the original version with that remix.
