About this release
Sgt Slick's Vol.2 brings four club-focused re-edits together on his ReCuts imprint. The Melbourne producer works across disco and house, reshaping familiar songs for dancefloor use. That Stranger Called Love and Lies That Aren't Big share the first side, while Control Yourself and I Only Shoot Love take the reverse. The four-track selection continues the series' focus on vocal material and reworked grooves, with two cuts on each side of the twelve-inch. That Stranger Called Love revisits Eurythmics' Love Is A Stranger, while Control Yourself reworks Laura Branigan's Self Control.
