About this release
Five producers revisit Shanti Celeste’s vocal track ‘Ice Cream Dream Boy’ on this remix 12-inch from Method 808 and Peach Discs. Huerta opens with the 31 Flavors Mix, followed by Saoirse’s Soft Serve Remix and MoMa Ready’s Manifest Remix on the A-side. K-Lone’s Creamix and Peach’s Booty Bongo Mix share the reverse. The record brings together five different approaches to Celeste’s song, keeping its vocal and melodic identity in play while giving each remixer room to redirect it. It forms a companion to the separate four-version original 12-inch, with an entirely different programme.
