About this release
Stefano Ritteri works with Pino Presti's original master tapes on Come Back To Me, joining a new version of the title song with two recordings from Presti's archives. You Look Like An Angel and Stormy were recorded in 1985 and had remained unreleased before this project. Ritteri adds synthesizer lines, drum-machine parts and tape-echo delays to the arrangements, taking the material towards a club-oriented Balearic sound. Spaziale Recordings' three-track twelve-inch places Come Back To Me on the first side and the two archive-based versions on the reverse, connecting Presti's recordings with Ritteri's production approach.
