About this release
Sudan Archives turns towards the dancefloor on THE BPM, her third album and the follow-up to Natural Brown Prom Queen. Recorded in Los Angeles, Chicago and Detroit, it brings her violin-led music into contact with the club sounds of those cities, alongside Jersey club and experimental beatwork. Sudan takes an executive producer role across a fifteen-track programme that includes Dead, My Type and A Computer Love. The record’s rhythmic focus connects its rap, vocal and instrumental elements. This black double LP edition comes in a gatefold jacket with an obi and printed lyric inner sleeve.
Format: 2 x black vinyl LP, gatefold sleeve, obi and lyric inner
