About this release
Action Printing explores the meeting point between Teddy Lasry’s keyboard experiments, syncopated rhythms and jazz-fusion ideas. First released by Sonimage in 1975, its compact pieces form a cinematic sequence, moving from “Metallopolis” and “Krazy Kat” through the electronic imagery of “Viol Cosmique” and “Galactic Patrol”. The former Magma musician treats synthesizer tones as both melodic voices and textural material, shaping an album with the concise character of library music. Vinymatic Records’ reissue presents all fourteen tracks, including the closing “Iron Man” and “Soap Opera”, on a single vinyl LP in an edition of 200 copies.
