London Calling expands The Clash's punk foundation through reggae, ska, rockabilly and other influences across a double album. Released in 1979, it opens with the title song before moving through Brand New Cadillac, Jimmy Jazz and Rudie Can't Fail. Spanish Bombs, The Guns Of Brixton and The Card Cheat show the range of the writing, while the final side closes with Revolution Rock and Train In Vain. This 180g double-vinyl reissue carries the complete nineteen-track programme. Its four sides keep the changing styles within one album sequence, from the opening warning to the closing pop arrangement.
