About this release
Universal Cave and the Street Road Band revisit Dan Strimer with Insured Sound’s 1977 song (Till You’re) Back In My Arms. The Philadelphia recording brings André Ethier’s vocal together with guitar, pedal steel, Rhodes, bass and synthesizers, shaping the song into a relaxed soft rock ballad. Alex Tebbs Mitchell assembled the band after Universal Cave included the original on Soft Rock For Hard Times Vol. 8, with Strimer helping the cover reach release. Coyote take the multitracks in a dubby deep house direction on the reverse. This 7-inch pairs the band’s cover with Coyote’s shorter remix.
