About this release
Moxy Edits 003 pairs a vocal version with a dub on a twelve-inch credited to an unknown artist. The third release in the series combines a bass-heavy, jackin' house groove with material inspired by 1990s hip-hop and West Coast club music. Untitled (Vocal) takes the first side, placing the voice at the centre of the arrangement. Untitled (Dub) follows on the reverse, offering the alternative treatment for DJ sets. The two versions keep the release focused on the relationship between its vocal hook, bass and rhythm.
