About this release
Los Angeles producer Garrett Rowley makes his first solo twelve-inch as Upstairs P. with Grem Freche. The two-part release follows collaborations with Baba Stiltz on Public Possession, and Stiltz also contributes to the second part here. Slow, psychedelic grooves and dub-influenced textures connect the two sides, placing the record between house and downtempo electronics. Pinchy & Friends gives each part a full side, allowing the arrangements to unfold at an unhurried pace.
