About this release
Symphonical Records restores Van Jones's first single, originally released in 1974, in collaboration with Jones and Erwin Epps. The Virginia singer's early recordings pair I Want To Groove You with Your Love Is Like A High, capturing the beginning of his recording career. Erwin Epps features on both songs, joined by Marilyn Gatlings on I Want To Groove You and Jurdine Harding on Your Love Is Like A High. This seven-inch brings the two soul recordings together in their original single format, with the reissue developed directly with the musicians behind the release.
