About this release
Handy Records’ second Keep It In The Family compilation gathers five house tracks from label regulars and new contributors. Earl Jeffers opens with ‘Feel’, combining synthesiser textures, percussion and vocal touches, before Zopelar’s ‘Move This Way’, featuring Antonio Dal Bo, brings a weightier melodic sound. Retromigration takes ‘Fret’ towards an Italian progressive house influence on the reverse, followed by Cem Mo’s ‘Rushmore’ and Monty DJ’s ‘Sat15’. The 12-inch returns to the main label’s broad house focus after its Natural Frequencies sublabel releases, connecting artists from Wales, the Netherlands, Brazil and beyond across a five-track selection.
