About this release
Machagistia is a ten-track compilation from Light Sounds Dark, spread across two vinyl records. Its programme moves through dark ambient textures, industrial drones, choral passages and kosmische electronics, favouring atmosphere and abstraction over conventional song structures. The selections remain untitled and the artists uncredited, leaving the sequence of sounds to carry the record’s identity. Across four sides, the set follows an exploratory route through shadowy electronic music, with a closing excursion into text-to-speech experimentation.
