About this release
The third part of Philadelphia International Classics gives four Tom Moulton mixes a side each across two 12-inch records. The O'Jays open with This Time Baby, followed by The Futures' Party Time Man. Jean Carn's My Love Don't Come Easy and The Jones Girls' Nights Over Egypt complete the set. Moulton's extended treatments draw attention to the interaction between the singers, rhythm sections and orchestral arrangements, allowing those elements to develop beyond a short single format. This PIR2019003 edition brings the four mixes together in their full lengths, with the audio remastered from original source materials.
