About this release
Telepathic Fish: Trawling The Early 90s Ambient Underground documents the South London chill-out parties organised by Openmind: Chantal Passamonte, David Vallade, Mario Aguera and Kevin Foakes. Chosen by the surviving members, the ten-track vinyl selection draws on music played at their events, with contributions from Spacetime Continuum, Nightmares On Wax, Insides and Global Communication. Caustic Window’s Cordialatron is included as a vinyl-only track, alongside Keiichi Suzuki, Tranquility Bass, Golden Girls and No-Man. The music comes with a 20-page illustrated history covering the crew’s activities between 1992 and 1995, using photographs, artwork and memorabilia. This black double LP is housed in a gatefold sleeve.
