About this release
A&R Edits brings Loveface and Misiu together for a two-track 12-inch of dancefloor reworks. Loveface’s ‘This Ain’t No Disco’ reshapes Talking Heads’ ‘Life During Wartime’, keeping its restless character while giving DJs a version designed for club play.
Misiu takes the reverse with ‘Tarot’, a flowing rework of an early-1980s Italo disco track previously revisited by the Idjut Boys. The pairing moves between post-punk energy and hypnotic disco, with early support for the release from Greg Wilson and Ian Ossia.
