About this release
Discoteca Tropicana bring Brazilian swing to four original tracks on Selva Discos. The collaboration between Kiko Costato and producer Zé Nigro draws together disco, carimbó and Afro-Brazilian rhythms with contributions from experienced Brazilian studio musicians.
‘Corpos Celestes’ pairs strings and grand piano with a classic disco feel, while ‘Corpo Treme’ quickens the pace. ‘Tobina’ connects African guitar and Brazilian rhythms before ‘Não Pode Acabar’ closes the EP with a direct dancefloor groove.
