About this release
Don Laka's synth-led South African grooves receive two careful extensions on Running Back Super Sound Singles. Prins Thomas opens out Stages, allowing its warm electronics and rhythm to unfold, while Gerd Janson reshapes I Wanna Be Myself for the dancefloor. The original Stages Of Love completes the record, keeping Laka's blend of jazz-funk, township influence and studio electronics in view.
