About this release
Dor Wand’s Alchemy of Being draws on Jungian ideas and meditation as starting points for an ambient album of synthesizers, live harp and tuned percussion. The Los Angeles producer and Dublab resident builds a quiet musical space, allowing textures to move gently between tension and release. Rejoicer appears on The Melody Of The Heart, within a sequence of short interludes and more developed instrumental pieces. Rather than relying on a constant beat, the arrangements leave room for resonance and gradual movement. Multi Culti presents the album as an eleven-track vinyl LP in a picture sleeve.
