Turn On The Sunlight - Iseo

Turn On The Sunlight is the long-running project of Texas-born, Maui-based musician and producer Jesse Peterson. Iseo unfolds as a series of open, exploratory pieces with electronics sitting subtly beneath acoustic and environmental elements.

Built from layered instrumentation, including synthesizers, guitar, zither, flutes, voice and field recordings, the album moves between grounded, tactile detail and more expansive, immersive states. Collaborators include Carlos Niño, Mia Doi Todd, Laraaji, Ko Ishikawa, Luis Pérez Ixoneztli and Miles Spilsbury.
