About this release
Beckie Bell's Music Madness returns on this Favorite Recordings 12-inch, pairing the original recording with remixes by Voilaaa and Tom Noble. Produced in 1980 by Pierre Jaubert, the song came from Bell's album In Need Of…, part of the French disco scene in which Jaubert had worked with ICE and the Lafayette Afro Rock Band. The original album version opens the record, followed by Voilaaa's rework, with Tom Noble's remix on the reverse. The vinyl programme also includes What You Need I Can Bring, bringing another Bell recording alongside the three versions of Music Madness.
