About this release
Freestyle revisits the short-lived UK group Cool Runners with this reissue of their 1982 single 'Checking Out'. It pairs the title track with 'High On A Feeling', bringing two sides of British boogie back onto 12-inch vinyl. The release sits at the meeting point of boogie and Brit-funk, with both original song titles retained on a straightforward two-track pressing.
