Jivaro - Saturday Fever

Jivaro's Saturday Fever captures the meeting of bubblegum, boogie and emerging house sounds in late-eighties South Africa. Originally released in 1989 on Maurice Horwitz's Music Team label, the album reflects the electronic dance music then moving through the country's clubs and radio.

Kalita's reissue presents the six-track programme, including both the original and dub versions of What Next alongside Saturday Fever, Your Way Is My Way, Is This Love? and Feel Me. It places the group's proto-house approach back on vinyl as KALITALP7.
