About this release
Migraine brings Keith Garner & Dennis O’s North Carolina funk recording back on Athens Of The North, paired with its instrumental version. The reissue corrects a fault on the earlier pressing, where a lathe test tone was accidentally left running partway through the track. With that interruption removed, the vocal side and instrumental can each run through the groove as intended. The two versions offer different ways into the same recording, keeping the focus on its local funk character.
