About this release
Completion Of A Miracle continues Steve Elliott's self-produced soul recordings with a second album first released in 1982. His vocals sit above synthesizers, drum machines and bass textures, joining direct song structures with the distinctive sound of an independent electronic production. Wake Up brings a more rhythmic feel, while Easy Come and Next Time provide instrumental passages within the eight-track sequence. Crying opens the record, with the title song, You Touched Me and Certain People among the selections on the reverse. Rain & Shine's RSR005 edition is remastered from the original reel-to-reel tapes and presents the complete album on vinyl.
