About this release
Sweet Stuff is Sylvia Robinson's 1975 soul album, originally released through her Vibration label. The songs bring together intimate vocals, funk rhythms and collaborative performances, including Sho Nuff Boogie with The Moments. Private Performance and Love Is The Only Thing sit alongside Soul Je T'aime, Robinson's interpretation of Serge Gainsbourg's Je T'aime Moi Non Plus. Wewantsounds' reissue presents the album with its original artwork and expands the programme with Sho Nuff Boogie, Part 2. It also includes the longer version of Soul Je T'aime, giving this eleven-track vinyl edition its own programme beyond the original LP.
