About this release
Quiet Village pairs the two parts of The Dome City Rock Orchestra's New Orleans jazz-funk recording. Synthesizers and flute sit alongside bongos and drums, with the arrangement building its movement through layered percussion and keyboard textures. Part 1 occupies the first side, while Part 2 continues the programme on the reverse. The pairing gives both sections their own space within the original single format, keeping the focus on the ensemble's rhythmic interplay. This Col Soul 7-inch reissue is the orange-label edition in a black sleeve..
Format: 7" vinyl, orange labels and black sleeve
