About this release
The Family Tree bring gospel singing into a disco setting on ‘We Shall See Him As He Is’, originally released in 1979. The eight-track album includes the title song, ‘Give It Up To Jesus’ and ‘150th Psalm’, alongside a disco interpretation of Stevie Wonder’s ‘As’. Faith-centred material runs throughout, with ‘Jesus’, ‘Never Be The Same’ and ‘Brand New Day’ completing the second side. Cheri Records’ remastered vinyl edition preserves the full album sequence and original cover artwork, presenting this meeting of gospel, soul and dancefloor rhythm on a heavyweight LP.
Format: 12" heavyweight vinyl LP
