About this release
Borderlands is The Milk’s fourth studio album, produced by drummer Mitch Ayling and recorded live at Woods Lodge Studio. The group’s soul and funk foundations expand into arrangements featuring strings, horns and choir, with Rick Nunn’s vocals carrying songs of love, loss and hope. I Need Your Love opens the ten-track sequence, which also includes A Time To Let Go, The Middle and Loaded Dice. Lewis Durham mastered the album using vintage analogue equipment. This WLS Records edition presents the complete programme on a single 180g black vinyl record.
