About this release
On A Clear Day You Can See Forever pairs two recordings by British trio The Peddlers. The title track places deep vocals alongside organ-led instrumental passages, bringing together jazz, soul and the group's lounge-influenced arrangements. Comin' Home Baby on the reverse offers a more rhythmic companion, keeping the emphasis on the interaction between voice and band. Epic's remastered 7-inch reissue presents one song on each side, with a large centre hole and a generic Epic paper sleeve. The single connects two aspects of the trio's late-1960s repertoire in the original two-track format.
