About this release
The Soul Surfers pair High Roller with Big Slick for their first solo 7-inch on Broc Recordz. The group build their raw funk sound around drums, bass and twin guitars, with effects and lightly dub-influenced arrangements adding space to the rhythms. Both tracks keep that instrumental interplay at the centre, following the band's collaborations with Janko Nilovic on Maze Of Sounds and Two Tales For The Mind. Released as TSS001, the single presents High Roller on the first side and Big Slick on the reverse.
