TL - Give it Up

Tom Lipkins, recording as TL, teams with producer Willie Harpe on this 1986 modern soul single. Give It Up circulated among soul collectors under the cover-up name Hamilton Connection, with George Mahood and later Soul Sam associated with the record. For the Athens of the North release, Harpe supplied the stereo master tape, allowing the recording to be reissued from that source. Give It Up is paired with Lets Talk It Over on the reverse, bringing the two sides together for modern soul and rare disco listeners.
