About this release
Tone B. Nimble selects two university gospel choir recordings for the ninth chapter of Soul Is My Salvation. Souls A'Fire, from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, perform Bread Of Life on the first side; Rutgers University's Liberated Gospel Choir supply Bon Appetit on the reverse.
The series focuses on gospel recordings whose energy also connects with dancefloors, bringing selections from hard-to-find albums into a seven-inch format. Rain&Shine presents these two tracks remastered for 45rpm playback, keeping the choirs' contrasting performances together as a compact entry in Tone B. Nimble's ongoing selection.
Format: 7" vinyl, 45rpm
Label: Rain&Shine
