About this release
MF DOOM's MM..FOOD builds its world through food metaphors, layered samples and sharp, often comic storytelling. First released in 2004, the album uses its playful titles to explore conflict, excess and the contradictions of rap culture. DOOM handles most of the production, with Madlib producing One Beer and PNS of the Molemen behind Kon Queso. Guests include Count Bass D, Mr. Fantastik, Angelika and 4ize, whose appearances sit within the record's tightly connected sequence of songs and short instrumental passages. This black double-vinyl anniversary edition presents the complete fifteen-track album with Sam Rodriguez artwork in a gatefold sleeve.
