Daft Punk - Homework

Homework introduced Daft Punk’s approach to house and techno on a full album in January 1997. 'Da Funk', 'Around The World', 'Revolution 909' and 'Burnin’' sit alongside the tougher repetition of 'Rollin’ & Scratchin’' and 'Rock’n Roll', while 'Teachers' acknowledges the musicians behind the duo’s musical education. The sixteen-track sequence moves between short interludes and extended club tracks, ending with 'Alive' and the brief 'Funk Ad'. Spread across two LPs, it offers the complete original album and a clear view of the dancefloor ideas that shaped Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo’s early work.
