About this release
Yahho no Potori captures Eddie Marcon’s intimate blend of acoustic songwriting and gentle psychedelia. Formed around Eddie Corman and Jules Marcon, the Himeji group set Corman’s voice and guitar against bass, woodwinds, percussion and the subtle contributions of their collaborators. Saya produced the album, with recording by Bunsho Nishikawa during summer and autumn 2008. Songs including “Doily”, “Crystals Of Rabbit” and “Toratolion” favour tenderness and spacious arrangements over dramatic gestures. A Colourful Storm’s transparent yellow vinyl repress includes remastered audio, the original full-colour sleeve and a Japanese lyric sheet, presenting all eight tracks from the 2009 album.
