Adam Freeland - Twister

Adam Freeland’s Twister accompanies the return of Marine Parade, combining his interest in psychedelic rock, drone, leftfield techno and breakbeat. The title track builds from heavy bass, interlocking rhythms and dub effects towards a sustained drone and guitar-led finish.

On the reverse, ‘Kiligurl’ pairs broken rhythms and pulsing drones with spring reverb. The two-track release follows Freeland’s Transhuman collaboration with Duncan Forbes and continues a new chapter for the label that helped define the more adventurous side of 2000s breakbeat.
