About this release
Rotterdam band Another Taste reinterprets Maxx Traxx's Don't Touch It on this Numero Group seven-inch, pairing its cover with the Chicago group's original recording. The two versions connect a contemporary band working in the tradition of funk, disco and boogie with one of its earlier reference points. Another Taste's analogue approach gives the song a new performance, while Maxx Traxx's original places its synth-led sound in the context of Chicago's live club bands. Part of Numero's cover single series, this release presents both recordings together in a custom Numero sleeve.
