Apiento - Escape Reality

Apiento follows Fantastic Man as the second artist on the collaboration between Love International Recordings and Test Pressing. Escape Reality finds Test Pressing founder Paul Byrne working across six tracks of electronic music, with complex drums and dreamy synthesizers bringing a Detroit influence to Axis and Those Busy Circuits. Everything Move places the emphasis on the dancefloor, while the remaining pieces broaden the EP's range of moods. Released as LIXTP002, the record connects Byrne's work as a selector and label figure with the detailed rhythms and atmospheric textures of his own productions.
